Adrian Hamburger, M.D. - Medical Director and Staff Physician
Dr. Adrian Hamburger is a board certified Pain Medicine physician. After obtaining his medical doctorate (M.D.), he completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, followed by a residency in Anesthesiology at Harvard University. He became board certified in Anesthesiology, and further pursued his interests in Pain Medicine by completing a Fellowship in Interventional Pain at Harvard University’s MGH Pain Center. His primary areas of focus are the minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic care of low-back pain and neck pain, and he feels that patient education is critical to providing excellent care.
Timothy Olson, M.D., Ph.D. - Staff Physician
Dr. Timothy Olson is a board certified Pain Medicine physician. During the pursuit of his medical doctorate (M.D.), he obtained his Ph.D. in Neuroscience with a focus on the molecular basis of pain. Upon completion of his M.D., Ph.D., he pursued his internship in Internal Medicine at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a residency in Anesthesology at that same institution. He then underwent further training with a Fellowship in Interventional pain at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital Pain Center. After spending 5 years in private practice at the Center for Pain Management in Minnesota, he has returned to New England to be closer to his wife's family, and to help expand our services into Southern Rhode Island and South Eastern Connecticut.
